Opened in 2021, Limonz is the creation of owner Maru Parra, whose journey into retail began with an unexpected opportunity. While passing through Tubac, she spotted a “For Rent” sign and saw the possibility of creating something special. Although she had no previous experience as a store owner, she had a clear vision: to create a place where people could find something beautiful, unexpected, and uplifting.

That spirit of joy is evident throughout the store. Each item feels thoughtfully chosen, inviting visitors to slow down, explore, and perhaps discover something that brings a smile to their face.

The name Limonz captures Maru’s philosophy perfectly. She added the “z” for zest, embracing the familiar idea that when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Maru has taken that sentiment a step further, creating a shopping experience infused with personality, optimism, and a sense of fun.
